Terms of Service
Last updated October 2, 2026
These terms apply to the website obradesignbuild.com and to the consultation, design and construction work done by OBRA Design + Build (“OBRA,” “we,” “us”), based in Laredo, Texas. By using the site, requesting a consultation, or hiring us, you agree to them. If you sign a written proposal or contract with us, that document controls where it differs from these terms.
1. The website
The site is for information and for requesting a consultation. We try to keep it accurate, but materials, product availability, codes and financing programs change, and we do not guarantee that everything on the site is current. Nothing on the site is a binding offer; your price and scope are set in a written proposal or contract.
Images on the site, including renderings, show the kind of work we design and build. Unless an image is labeled as a completed OBRA project, it is not a representation of a specific finished job, and your project will differ according to your site, design and budget.
2. Consultations, designs and quotes
The first consultation is free and creates no obligation. Designs, drawings and renderings we prepare remain OBRA's property until a written agreement says otherwise, and may not be given to another builder without our permission. A quote is valid for the period stated on it and covers only what it lists. Anything outside that scope, including conditions discovered once work begins, is priced and approved in writing before it is done.
3. Offers and promotions
Advertised offers, such as a special price for a limited number of homes, are subject to the terms stated in the offer, to availability, and to a site visit confirming that the project can be built as described. The details of any offer you accept are written into your proposal or contract.
4. Pricing, payment and financing
Your price is the one in your written contract. Deposits, progress payments and due dates are stated there. Financing is offered through third-party lenders and is subject to their credit approval, rates and terms; OBRA is not the lender. Your written contract includes any cancellation rights required by Texas law.
5. Permits, access and the work
We handle the permits listed in your contract. You agree to give us access to the property and utilities, to tell us about anything you know of underground or on the property line that could affect the work, and to confirm that you own the property or have the owner's permission. Schedules depend on weather, inspections, material deliveries and changes you request; the schedule in your contract is our plan, and we will tell you when it moves.
6. Warranty
Warranty coverage for our workmanship and for equipment and materials is stated in your written contract and in the manufacturers' warranties. Warranties do not cover damage from misuse, lack of maintenance, modifications by others, or ground movement, weather and other events outside our control.
7. Calls and text messages
When you give us your number you agree to receive calls and texts about your request and your project. Reply STOP to end texts and HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
8. Photos and reviews
We may ask to photograph or film your project and to post a review you wrote. We only use your name, images of your home, or your words with your permission, and you can withdraw it by contacting us.
9. Limits on liability
To the extent Texas law allows, OBRA's responsibility for any claim related to the site or a consultation is limited to the amount you paid us for the work in question, and we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses. Liability for construction work is governed by your written contract. Nothing here limits rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be waived.
10. Governing law and language
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute about the website will be handled in the courts of Webb County, Texas, unless your written contract says otherwise. These terms are published in English and Spanish; if the two versions differ, the English version controls for the website, and the version you signed controls for any written contract.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date at the top tells you when. Questions: info@obradesignbuild.com or 956-307-7852. OBRA Design + Build, 6420 Polaris Dr, Suite 212, Laredo, TX 78041.

OBRA Design + Build, 6420 Polaris Dr, Suite 212, Laredo, TX 78041.
